Yaaa meski hidup di Lampung, kan banyak juga orang Jawa di sana, dan kebiasaan dari asal masih dibawa. Jadi, saya masih terasa kental Jawanya. Mengaku orang Jawa masih boleh lah ya.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Begitu saya merantau ke kota sebelah, Palembang, mulailah saya tahu bahwa dunia ini tak hanya Jawa, Jawa, dan Jawa. Semua bermula karena soto khas Palembang. Serius, ini culture shock yang amat membagongkan bagi saya.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Soto adalah salah satu makanan favorit saya dari sejak dulu. Ketika di rumah, Mamak saya sering sekali membuat soto ayam yang seger banget. Kombinasi antara bihun, ayam suwir, kol, seledri, toge, dan bawang goreng, ditambah kuah soto yang panas dan perlengkapan sambel\u2026 ah, nikmatnya.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Oleh karena itulah, ketika merantau, yang wajib saya lakukan adalah mencari soto. Tapi ternyata, begitu ketemu soto ala Palembang, saya langsung bingung. Ini soto?<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Menurut saya soto itu identik dengan bihun yang dicampur dengan printilan-printilan seperti ayam suwir, toge, seledri, kol, dan ditambah kuah bening yang super seger. Tapi yang saya lihat berbeda. Isinya cuman suwiran daging ayam, toge, telur, emping, serta nasi pisah. Mana bihunnya?<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Bukan cuma itu. Setahu saya, kuah soto itu ya bening, seger, gurih. Tapi di sini, kuahnya pake santan, bumbunya pun berbeda. Rasanya asing. Bagi saya yang berjiwa Janji Jawa, tentu saja ini kurang seger. Saya belum tahu kalau ada soto <a href=\"https:\/\/id.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Sroto_Sokaraja\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Sokaraja<\/a> di Jawa, yang kuahnya mirip-mirip, jadi menurut saya ya soto itu kuahnya harus seger.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Tapi bagaimana rasanya?<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Anehnya, saya cocok. Enak-enak saja. Butuh adaptasi memang, tapi bukan berarti saya nggak bisa menikmati. Saya kira memang ini hebatnya hidup di Indonesia. Satu kuliner, bisa punya banyak mazhab, dan semuanya menawarkan rasa yang berbeda.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Itulah culture shock saya sebagai Japung yang kaget dengan soto ala Palembang. Saya kira, saya tak sendiri.
